This Privacy Policy explains how WebX Consult(“WebX Consult”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and safeguards your personal information when you visit https://www.webxconsult.com(the “Site”), contact us, subscribe to our updates, or engage us for services (together, the “Services”). It also describes your rights and how to exercise them.
We are based in Accra, Ghana and act as the data controller of the personal information described here. We process personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana and, where applicable, comparable data-protection laws.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide. Your name, email address, phone number, company, and the contents of any enquiry, form, email or message you send us (including via our contact form or WhatsApp).
- Newsletter data. If you subscribe, your email address and subscription status.
- Client & project information. Where you engage us, information needed to deliver the work, which may include business, financial, technical and account details you share with us.
- Usage & device data. Aggregated, privacy- friendly analytics such as pages viewed, referring source, approximate region, device and browser type. We do not build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.
- Approximate location. To display prices in the right currency, our pricing page reads your approximate country from your IP address. This is used transiently and is not stored against your identity.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the Services you request.
- To send updates or newsletters you have asked to receive.
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Site and Services.

- To comply with our legal, accounting, tax and regulatory obligations, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
3. Legal bases for processing
We process personal data where we have a lawful basis to do so:
- Consent — for example, when you subscribe to our newsletter (you may withdraw consent at any time).
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Services you engage us for.
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, secure and improve the Site, and run our business, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — to meet accounting, tax and other statutory requirements.
4. Sharing & service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers (processors) who help us run the Site and Services, under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions. These currently include:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting for enquiries, subscribers and our admin tools.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers store and process data on servers outside Ghana. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy and applicable law.
6. Cookies & similar technologies
We keep cookies to a minimum. We use only those necessary to operate the Site (for example, to keep an authenticated admin session) and privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, to provide the Services, and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
8. Security
We protect personal information with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, update or delete the personal information we hold about you; to object to or restrict certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message, or by contacting us.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@webxconsult.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.
